Skyline is the overall view of the city's buildings against the sky. And the best place to see the Manhattan's skyline is Hudson River. I went to Circle Line (12 Av and 42 St) and took the 7 pm ferry, I payed $35,00 in almost two hours cruise. It was AMAZING! I could see the city during the daylight and at night! I can go home now.
