On friday, july 5,2013, during holiday of fourth july I took a bus at Port Authorithy Station and went to visit Jersey Garden Mall,an outlet located in New Jersey State not so far away from New York City.
Outlets are chain stores in the United States where we can shopping and buy famous brands such as GAP, TOMMY HILFIGER, GUESS, ADIDAS,NIKE, etc.... all of them cheaper than in Manhatan stores.
Surely was a great opportunity to purchase goods and gifts to my relatives that would be much more expensive in Brazil due the high taxes brazilian citizens have to pay when they shopping.
It is true that New Jersey tends to be cheaper (tax is less,) but you also must factor in the cost of transportation. You may find the Queens Mall easier to get to, that Klezer mentioned, and the chain stores tend not to be so more expensive. Has anyone visited the mall? I believe they have the same stores.
