HAPPY 4th OF JULY

I went to the Battery Park on 4th of July to see the Fireworks. It was really beautiful ! But the most interesting thing for me was observe how american people really celebrate this date. I could see many families together in the park , wearing "american clothes" , waving their american flags, WTC and Empire State Building in red, blue and white, the colors of the american Flag and so on. Then I was wondering why we can't see this in Brazil anymore... Maybe We are losting our pride, our patriotism... Maybe we are more interested in holidays...
