Work and have fun

Staying in New York these days has being wonderful. Not only for visiting amazing city landmarks, but for doing things that we don't used to do and learn a lot.
A great experience was working as a volunteer at Queens Botanical Garden. We've worked hard, had fun and enjoyed the nature as well.

  1. I can see you had a great time. I love to garden. I learned about ornamental gardening from the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. You grow edible food that has great color, purple string beans, red, orange, and yellow swiss chard, and a variety of vegetable in a beautiful manner. So not only do you have fresh delicious food, but also a lovely presentation at the same time. Has anyone tried to do that at their home? You don't need a lot of space. You can grow strawberries and tomatoes in pots, and potatoes in bags. Then you have the freshest and healthiest foods.

  2. It's a great idea! I'll try to learn some and do it in my backyard.
